When: 2.5 hr sessions on Saturday mornings once a month beginning February 26th; 9:30am-Noon
Cost/Class: $10:00 for members of GSLA or HawkWatch International; $15 for non-members

UNDERSTANDING THE BASICS of BIRD PHOTOGRAPHY
Presenters: Mia McPherson and Ron Dudley
This is a “two-fer” – two excellent nature photographers who know their craft and are engaging teachers. Both are passionate about watching the behavior of birds as well as photographing them. Mia loves shorebirds and gets down to their level for personal (and artful) shots. Ron is enraptured with raptors. He’s caught some awesome mid-air encounters. CAMERA/COMPUTER/PRESENTATION ESSENTIALS
This will be a more “nuts & bolts” session. Richard has been involved in photography for over 50 years, 40 of those as a professional. In retirement, he discovered birds; and avian photography became a full time passion. His class will emphasize camera/computer/presentation essentials; techniques for best in-camera bird images, along with methods to improve your photos with “post-processing”.
