Join HWI's Education Director Jen Hajj for a day of eagle ecology. We’ll travel to the Greater Salt Lake area to observe large concentrations of bald eagles. We’ll discuss bald eagle natural history, their amazing recovery from the endangered species list, and what the future holds for our national bird. We will meet at 9:00AM at HWI's Salt Lake Office (2240 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, UT 84106) to arrange carpools to the field site. The field trip is scheduled to end at 12:00PM. Pack snacks and plenty of water. Please remember to wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. Bring your binoculars and a camera to capture these remarkable raptors in action!
