As it flows from its headwaters in Southern Colorado to the
Gulf of Mexico, the Rio Grande cuts through the center of New Mexico, defining
a way of life for plants and animals.
This program, designed for audiences of all ages at State Parks, Informal Education Centers and Nature Centers, will introduce audiences to the ecological relationships made
possible by the river, from tiny macroinvertebrates to the most majestic eagle, and
how our own actions can sustain the web of life into the future.
