Deposit & Cancellation Policy

HawkWatch International's Veracruz River of Raptors Ecotour
Standard Tour: October 3-11, 2008

$2,300 Per Person, Double Occupancy (Single Room Surcharge $250)

Optional 3-day Catemaco Extension
October 11-13, 2007

$550 Per Person, Double Occupancy (Single Room Surcharge $75)

Greetings and thanks for your interest in going to Veracruz, Mexico this October with HawkWatch International to witness the phenomenal raptor migration, avian wonders, and cultural warmth offered in east central Mexico. Space on this trip is limited to 12 participants. To avoid confusion or miscommunication, HWI is providing this statement of policy regarding trip deposits and cancellation policies. DEPOSIT
A deposit of $700 per person is necessary to reserve your spot on the trip, and must be received by August 3, 2008. Please send your deposit to HawkWatch International, Attn: Emilie Turner, 2240 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, UT 84106. Make your check payable to "HawkWatch International" and specify in the memo field that it is for "Veracruz River of Raptors 2008."

BALANCE DUE DATE
The balance of $1,500 per person ($2,200 minus $700 deposit), plus any additional charges for single room supplements, if applicable, is due by September 3, 2008.

REFUND POLICY
Cancellation 90 days or more before the first day of the tour (i.e., before July 3) will receive a 100% return of deposit. Cancellation between 30 and 90 days before the first day of the tour will receive the deposit less 10% and any money already spent (i.e., non-refundable reservations).

No refunds will be made for cancellations after September 3, 2008,
unless HawkWatch International can find a replacement participant.
